Why I love my Berkey water system.
Water is a BIG deal to me! Think about it…..how long can you live without it? Since water is an essential element for sustaining life, it can also be a tremendous polluter to our bodies and minds too.
My last “free standing” water system cost me $2000, known as an Ionizer. It could change the alkalinity of the water but it did not purify to the same degree as Berkey. The annual replacement filters cost almost as much as the whole Berkey system.
Alkalinity can be achieved with eating more vegetables, anyhow. I chose to keep my body alkalized that way.
Here is another reason to love the Berkey – it filters 99.9999% of bacteria and viruses, cysts, sediments, pesticides, solvents, chlorine, VOC’s, and heavy metals.
